“The best part about my time at Maine Virtual Academy is the teachers. They are by far the most supportive teachers I have ever seen in a school and go to extreme lengths to ensure that their students get the help they need. My schedule is very tight, and I have classes during both study hall periods. So, when I needed help with an essay, I couldn’t meet my teacher. But when I told her about this, she offered to meet me after my last class to give me all the help I needed! It’s amazing how flexible and willing the teachers are to help.”

“Maine Virtual Academy (MEVA) is a virtual school conducted from platforms such as Zoom, Brightspace, Bongo, Canvas, etc. While it may not be what most people think of when they hear the words ‘middle/high school,’ it’s perfect for students like me, who like to have some freedom in their education and/or wish they could spend the day in the comfort of their own homes.”
